“La Residenza di Carlo” is the ideal accommodation for your stay in Venice, within a short walking distance from Rialto and Piazza San Marco, in the district of Castello.
The apartment is located in a typical venetian corte (square), Calle dei Orbi. This is a very quiet and peaceful location, although it is adjacent to the main street Calle Lunga and to one of the biggest campo in Venice: Santa Maria Formosa.
In the middle of the courtyard stands a solid Vera da Pozzo (well curb), engraved with the emblem of the Berardo family which used to have a homestead in the corte.
“La Residenza di Carlo” is a luxurious home, located on the raised ground floor (safe from hightide floods) with separate entrance (security door and opening keypad with personal combination) in a three-units building.
The building has been completely restored recently, using the newest building techniques while preserving some of the original features such as the wooden beams and the chimney.
It is fully equipped and attentively furnished in real Venetian style with components 100% made in Italy.
“La Residenza di Carlo” can accomodate up to 4 guests comfortably.
The spacious bedroom includes an elegant king size bed (170×200 cm, 70×80 in).
In the living room, you will find a queen-size sleeper sofa (160×203 cm, 63×80 in).
The fully-equipped kitchen is at complete disposal of our guests: it has hot plates, refrigerator, freezer, dishwater
microwave and tableware.
